US Youth Soccer is going where no other soccer organization has gone before…the iPad

US Youth Soccer and Front Rush partner to change college soccer recruiting

FRISCO, Texas (APRIL 13, 2015) – Collegiate soccer coaches attending the US Youth Soccer Regional and National Championships are going to look at paper recruit packets in a whole new light this summer. US Youth Soccer and Front Rush have partnered to provide collegiate coaches the option to access tournament data directly from their iPad via Front Rush’s Coach Packet product.

College coaches and scouts will have the ability to recruit and evaluate talent directly from their iPad without having to rely on being connected to the Internet. Gone are the days of having to lug around hard copy binders to make notes and evaluations on top recruits. With Coach Packet, college coaches and scouts will have access to the latest rosters, player data, schedule and custom evaluation metrics all from their iPad or mobile device.

“The goal (no pun intended) with our partnership with US Youth Soccer is to allow college coaches to recruit more efficiently. That will inherently get US Youth Soccer athletes into the right institutions,” said Brad Downs, Front Rush’s co-founder. “It’s going to be extremely exciting working with a leader like US Youth Soccer to change the way collegiate soccer coaches recruit.”

Coach Packet will be available to every collegiate soccer program in the country. College coaches will have the ability to purchase an annual US Youth Soccer tournament pass or by event.

“We are always looking at ways to take our events to the next level and providing benefits for the hundreds of college coaches and scouts attending US Youth Soccer games is a huge focus,” said Todd Roby, Director of Marketing and Communications, US Youth Soccer. “Everybody wins with this partnership and the recruiting process will benefit immediately thanks to the efficiencies created through our relationship with Front Rush.”

2015 US Youth Soccer Tournament Pass will be available in early May and additional events will be added throughout the year. To learn more about Coach Packet click here.
