NFHCA partners with First Scout & Front Rush

Chandler, AZ (February 16, 2015)—The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced today it has partnered with First Scout and Front Rush to provide film services and athlete data free to its member coaches for each of the association’s newly sanctioned events through 2017.

First Scout and Front Rush will first offer film and recruiting services for every game at the inaugural NFHCA Top Recruit Spring Fling at Cedar Lane Regional Park in Bel Air, MD from April 18-19, 2015.

NFHCA President Andy Whitcomb said, “Having every game at our sanctioned tournaments filmed and archived for future evaluation is a major benefit to both college coaches and student-athletes. The technology streamlines the whole recruiting communication process and enables us to see any game at our convenience.”

Jon Chastney, First Scout’s owner and co-founder said, “”Having an edited highlight reel is an increasingly important part of the college recruiting process.  We’re looking forward to offering our recruitment film services to all NFHCA athletes as well as leveraging Coach Packet’s ability to marry game film and highlights with athletes’ recruiting profiles.”

Coach Packet was created by Front Rush to help college coaches recruit more efficiently during and after recruiting events. Coach Packet’s native iPad app and video functionality provide college coaches the one-two punch they need to recruit more athletes in a shorter amount of time.

“We’re excited to take NFHCA events to a new level,” said Brad Downs, Front Rush’s co-founder. “Everybody wins with this partnership and the recruiting process will benefit immediately thanks to the efficiencies created through our proprietary technology.”

The deal was brokered by Corrigan Sports Enterprises, the official event marketing and sports management firm of the NFHCA.
